Cowboys vs Redskins:
The last time the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins met, back in Week 2, Dak Prescott had yet to win a NFL diversion. Truth be told, Dallas had won two of its past 16 challenges without establishment quarterback Tony Romo in the lineup. That all changed on Sept. 19 when the Cowboys scored a late, diversion choosing touchdown, and that 27-23 triumph would be the first of nine straight triumphs for an outfit that oversaw only four wins in 2015.
Prescott remains the conspicuous storyline. A 2016 fourth-round pick has outflanked not just every other quarterback in his draft class, he’s been one the NFL’s most steady passers. Furthermore, as per Football Outsiders’ measurements, Prescott positions No. 3 altogether QB esteem and esteem per play, behind just Matt Ryan and Drew Brees .
Nobody saw this coming – and that incorporates the Cowboys, who were amped up for the possibilities of having a solid Tony Romo and Dez Bryant , a fresh out of the plastic new toy in youngster first-rounder Ezekiel Elliott , and the cosmic system’s best hostile line to make everything work. In any case, in August, Romo endured a crushed vertebrae in his spirit, which provoked flashbacks to last season’s 4-12 emergency that “included” Brandon Weeden , Matt Cassel and Kellen Moore taking snaps under focus. There were even reports that the Cowboys were attempting to exchange for veteran Josh McCown , who already has had accomplishment as a fill-in. No exchange appeared, maybe to a limited extent in light of how well Prescott played in the preseason, and the group chose it had the supporting cast set up to move with a newbie beginning quarterback.
Cowboys vs Redskins Preview:
Kirk Cousins looked like vintage Peyton Manning against the Packers defense last weekend. Cousins threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns, to three different receivers. Washington dominated the Packers in the second half, and look like a playoff contender in the NFC.
The Cowboys are good. They have answered every question thrown their way, and dominated the Steelers on the ground to prove their worth. Dak Prescott was efficient, and Ezekiel Elliott was electric as the Cowboys’ offensive line continues to be the MVP of the NFL season. They faced the stiffest running defense in the league and still broke over 100 yards.
Cowboys vs Redskins Prediction:
Can anyone beat the Cowboys? The Giants took down Dallas in their season opener, but since then, no one has been able to figure out Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.
Kirk Cousins has been successful this season, and the Redskins have been successful as well. But the Cowboys offer a challenge Washington hasn’t faced yet.
Will the Redskins defense be able to stop Zeke and company? Probably not. But it will be close.
